Individual Donations
Much of Sullivan County Habitat's funding comes from individuals dedicated to our mission of eliminating substandard housing. Each and every donation is used to build homes and hope in partnership with eligible familes.

Matching Gifts
Many corporations will match employee or retiree gifts. Local corporations such as IBM, Central Hudson, and Pfizer will match each dollar that their employees donate to charitable organizations. You may be able to double or triple your donation. Check with your human resources department to see if your company has a similar program. Obtain a Matching Gifts Form, fill out and sign the donor section, and send in the form with your donation. Some companies have an on-line matching gift procedure.
Memorial Gifts
Memorial Gifts Honor a special person by making a memorial gift in his or her name to Sullivan County Habitat for Humanity. We will send a card acknowledging your thoughtful gift to the appropriate person and also send you an acknowledgement for your records. Be sure to include the name and address of the person who should receive this card with your donation. Celebration Gifts
As you plan gifts for family and friends this year, consider a gift that keeps on giving long after the wedding, anniversary, birthday, graduation, holiday or other special event. Upon receipt of your contribution, we will send an acknowledgment card indicating that you have made a gift to Sullivan County Habitat for Humanity in honor of the person you are celebrating. Planned Giving
Become part of Habitat for Humanity's Legacy Society by making a planned gift and declaring your commitment to eliminating poverty housing. The most common method of making a planned gift is naming Sullivan County Habitat for Humanity in your Last Will and Testament and donating a specific dollar amount or percentage of your estate.
Other planned gifts include Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Lead Trusts and Retained Life Estates. Always remember to contact your financial advisor or attorney for advice.
